Applications are invited for the above post in the Department of Italian, tenable from 1 January 1997 or as soon as possible thereafter. Candidates should have an established interest in the Italian language and its linguistics; they should also be able to lecture and converse easily in English.

The appointment will be made at the level of either Assistant Lecturer or College Lecturer.
