Da Luigi Monga (Vanderbilt) Numero speciale di Annali d'italianistica : L'odeporica / Hodoeporics: On Travel Literature, di circa 750 pagine, contenente tre sezioni: Teoretica, Viaggiatori italiani all'estero, Viaggiatori stranieri in Italia, piu' inediti in varie lingue e una settantina di pagine di recensioni (tutte di argomento odeporico). Il volume contiene trentotto articoli in varie lingue, dei piu' noti specialisti nel campo della letteratura odeporica da Guglielminetti a Franceschetti, da Jeremy Black a Tom Conley, da Bideaux a Bastioensen, eccetera... Il volume e' stato curato da Luigi Monga ed e' disponibile per la modicissima somma di $ 15 ($ 18 per l'Europa), richiedendolo a Dino Cervigni, UNC-Chapel Hill, CB 3170 - Chapel Hill, N.C. 27599-3170. Da Blanca Muñiz (Spagna) All'Universita' di Barcellona si sta elaborando un «Catalogo delle traduzioni di opere letterarie italiane al castigliano e al catalano» (dal Trecento al 1936). Per ora siamo in grado di fornire informazioni su richiesta dei singoli. In seguito il materiale verra' informatizzato (Database MacIntosh: File maker pro). Ovviamente saranno benvenute le informazioni che sull'argomento potessero a loro volta mandarci i colleghi. Da Emanuela Cervato TRANSLATOR'S RESIDENTIAL TUTORSHIP In Spring 1998, Lombardia will host a festival of arts from Wales. As a contribution to this event, the Arts Council of Wales would like to consider the possibility of offering a residential fellowship to a translator from Lombardia. The main purpose of the fellowship would be to facilitate the translation of Welsh literary work (in Welsh or English) into Italian, but other activities might be explored, depending on the preferences of the translator and the host institution. The Arts Council of Wales is prepared to offer the translator a stipend for up to two months, while the British Council has agreed in principle to fund travel costs and help publicise the scheme.
