Today marks the publication of the first "issue" of the *Electronic Bulletin of the Dante Society of America*.

The *EBDSA* publishes short (ca. 1000 words) analyses, queries, and announcements dealing with Dante and his work. Information on the conventions for submitting such material for publication are available at that site.

A special issue of "Spunti e Ricerche", devoted to critical studies in English of the works of Antonio Tabucchi and edited by Bruno Ferraro and Nicole Prunster, will be available towards the end of September. Containing articles by distinguished scholars from various parts of the world, this issue of "Spunti e Ricerche" is the first collection of critical essays on Tabucchi's major narrative works and their main themes. All articles are in English, including those by contributors of other nationalities.

The volume also contains a bibliography both of English translations of Tabucchi's works and of prior critical studies available in English. The dustcover features the reproduction of a painting by Davide Benati. As numbers will be limited, early subscription is essential. Cost per volume: A$40 (Aust. dollars)
