Job Announcement[22-4-1996]DEPARTMENT OF MODERN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES LECTURERS IN FRENCH, GERMAN AND ITALIAN QUALIFICATIONS: PhD or excellent MA with Phd progress. Good English language skills as literature also taught in English. Leadership potential and good administrative skills. FRENCH: be qualified to teach 17th-20th Century French literature, which will be main area of activity. Experience of and/or research interest in Francophone literature a special recommendation. GERMAN: be qualified to teach 18th-20th Century German literature, which will be main area of activity. Must be able to teach Advanced Language. Experience of and/or research interest in European Studies a special recommendation. ITALIAN: Second language teaching experience essential as candidate will be required to teach beginner's language courses. Research interest in modern Italian literature. Experience of and/or research interest in European Studies a special recommendation. All staff is required to participate in language tuition at all levels. POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 1 January 1997.
