Pasolini Futures

The Department of Italian Studies and the Department of Modern Culture and Media at Brown University co-host an International Symposium on Pier Paolo Pasolini (May 3 and 4, 1996). The two-day program includes three panels, a round table, a poetry reading and the screening of Marco Tullio Giordana's Pasolini. Un delitto italiano (first release in the U.S.) as well as of an unreleased documentary on Pasolini produced by Brown students and containing interviews with Laura Betti, Sergio Citti, Ninetto Davoli, Bernardo Bertolucci, among others.

Late Modern Mythologies (Alessandro Carrera, Paolo Valesio, Mary Russo, Gian Mario Anselmi)

May 4: Pasolini's Film Theory: how to use it? (Michael Silverman, Maurizio Viano, Patrick Rumble, Giuliana Bruno, Giacomo Manzoli)
